Eek! I Suck (Shut Up)!
I think my life-blogging bug has ended. In the last two or three months, I have posted three times.
I thought I would pop over and re-post a recent post from my not-so-crafty crafty blog, The Craft House! (You should totally visit!
P.S: I am addicted to Blame It by Jamie Foxx now thanks to George Lopez on Lopez Tonight.
P.P.S: Did I tell you our move is official? We definitely have the apartment. New carpeting was put in last week, a new stove this week. It should be ready to move into next week just in time for Thanksgiving in our new, much bigger, apartment!!I went shopping today. The stuff went home to my new apartment, I did not, so I do not have actual pictures of it, online store photos will have to work! Keep in mind that this was the scheme I was going for (I threw the rug out after a horrendous night of sick-puppy messes):
Here is what I got as far as big things for the bedroom described in this post:
Floor Lamp: I was going to get the one on the left, but decided to get the one on the right (much pinker in person) for $10, which was $10 cheaper the the one on the left. Both are from Target.
Nightstand Lamp: $17 from Target, the shade is kind of boring, but I figured there must be some way to decorate it! Any ideas that are safe from lighting a fire?
I bought something like this, only it is skinner, the white outside part is dark purple, it has a further indented top so that things can sit on it, and this one only cost me $10 from Walmart. It is going to be used for storing bath products, hair products, makeup, hair dryer, straightener, curling iron, combs, brushes, etc. That will clear up two drawers of the dresser that is already owned, and I will not be buying the one I blogged about earlier.
I got the panels on the left for the window ($20 for two panels). I got ones like the ones on the right, but different. The ones I got are not listed. They are for my closet, two panels for around $20.
So all in all, I spent about $120 after getting a tension rod, curtain rod, blinds, and other minimal things. Not too bad. What I was not able to get was alarm/CD player/radio combo, a new rug, something that hangs in the closet for shoes, and wall art.
How did I do?

Guess Who Got Engaged?
No, not me.
Eh, I'm too young for that crap.
My favorite Youtuber, Charles Trippy, and his girlfriend, Alli Speed, got engaged this past Saturday! If you know who they are, or even if you don't check out this beautiful engagement video to see him proposing to her!
Now if only Iman and Lisa would only get engaged!

I Am Back Temporarily!
Hello everybody! I miss you all terribly!
Okay, this may be a long post, it may not. I want to go over everything that has happened since I last posted.
First off, all though you don't care, it is like a thing for me. A thing to see how badly I can piss off my grandmother and great-grandmother. I got my ears pierced again. I have three sets and a cartilage piercing now. Of course, all I hear from family other than my mother is "If God wanted you to have all of those holes in your head, he would have put them there!". Well, you all know how I feel about God and I'll leave it at that.
My sister had Mono again. How does that happen? Oh, and on a side note, the Classic Rock Music Choice TV channel just played two Queen songs in a row.
My best friend who was due to have her first baby September 15th went into labor very early in the morning on August 30th. She gave birth to a baby boy, Breidyn Michael Lee. He was born two weeks early and was born with Pneumonia. He finished up five days of antibiotics yesterday. He can breath on his own. The last I heard, he was being taken off of the feeding tube and being bottle fed with breast milk. If he does well on his own, he may be released tomorrow to go home.
School is going well.
The apartment that we are wanting to get, a three bedroom, we may just get it! The current tenant officially put her 30 day notice in on August 31st. She has until September 30th to be out or retract her 30 day notice. Yes, she can do that. However, she said that, if she cannot find a place, she is moving in with her mother. The apartment will take a good two to four weeks to clean, but then it is ours! I am hoping to be moved in completely by October 31st!
Our internet and digital phone service sucks. We have Time Warner. Dozens of times a day, the internet and phone shut off and take any where from a few seconds to fifteen minutes to come back on. Another tenant in our building has the same issue as well as another tenant in another building. We all have Time Warner. Anyone using the only other provider in our area, Embarq, has no issues. Between our neighbor and us, we have had Time Warner out here 10 times since April. Each time they tell us that they can't do a damn thing, the property owner has to pay to replace the wiring in all the apartments and buildings. According to Time Warner, all of the updates that have made over the last few years are overwhelming the 10+ year old wiring here. The only issue with that is that the tenant in another building from us has wiring that is less than five years old and she has the same issue, she doesn't even have internet, just digital phone. Time Warner sucks. If Embarq wasn't so damn expensive, we would switch to them for phone and internet and only use Time Warner for cable (God bless DVR).
COLLEGE FOOTBALL HAS STARTED!!!! The Buckeyes won their first game of the season today! The Navy did a wonderful job and it was a very close game in the end. Now, we just need to beat USC next week.
I will be getting a check for (insert a good amount of money here) in the middle of next month. My question is, do you guys think that I should use it to pay for driving school so as not to put it off another three months, or should I use it to furnace and decorate my bedroom I will be having all to myself and to also take my mother out to eat for graduating college?
I should definitely mention that, and I am so proud, my mother finishes her last two classes September 13th! Her finals are this coming weekend! She will be graduating with her Associates degree in Criminal Justice! She gets a two week break and then immediately starts her Bachelors degree in something business-related.
As some of you may know, my favorite band is Green Day. They released a new album, finally, after a nearly five year break since their last one. I, of course, got it soon after it was released. I absolutely love it and reccommend it to anyone who likes punk rock.
21st Century Breakdown
Green DayAlso, American Idiot has been turned into a musical! Ha ha. XD I wish I could see that!
All right, I am done talking nonsense now!
Love you guys!

Update - Moving?? Again!?!!
After checking with the money person for the property, we know that taking the apartment would take only $10 more out of my mother's checks. Read more below if you don't know what I am talking about!
Wow! I has been about two weeks since I last updated! I would say that I really, really suck at updating!
I have been trying really hard to fall into a pattern with schooling, but I am having a hard time with it. I don't know how to set up my Nike Physical Education crap, the Mac they gave me is missing some kind of software (I don't know if it is Java, Flash, or what) that it needs so that I can view some assignments, and it is all just so confusing! It would help more if I had a quiet place to be where I don't have to listen to a TV turned up way to loud, or my sister bitching about something.
Any ways, most of you (if anyone even still reads my blog) know that I moved recently, back in April. My mother got a job as the manager of an apartment complex. The job gives her an apartment to live in, the money for rent is automatically taken out of her check. We are in a two bedroom apartment because there are only two 3-bedroom apartments here, and both are taken. That means my sister and I share a room, which is not all that big. Between two beds, two (huge) dressers, a desk, two book shelves, storage containers, a nightstand, and all the rest of the crap we own, it just does not fit here. Plus, we are two teenagers always at each others necks. We hate each other.
One of the three bedroom apartments is right next to our current one. The woman in it is despicable at best. She has two young (under ten) sons, and teen-aged to early-twenty-something boys running in and out of her apartment. Well, she goes to school online and is receiving some money that is meant to go towards expenses while she is a student. She claims she is using it to move out. To make things worse (for her, great for us), her on-again-off-again boyfriend has lied to her for the fourth time about seeing other women and she really wants out so that she can go off somewhere where he doesn't know where she is. This situation has only fueled her more to move out. She pretty much has to at this point because her annual re-cert (something that allows her to still live here) was put to a halt by her request, it is now to late to do it and she must move out within the next few months.
There was someone on the waiting list that needed a three bedroom, but my mother recently found out that something happened in the past, something which I am not at liberty to speak of, which could keep her from being allowed to live here. If this happens, no one else is on the waiting list for a three bedroom. I have been trying to convince my mom to take it. We wouldn't exactly have to move our things very far, and there are a couple of strong boys around here that would gladly help us move (
). Right now, if my sister and I want o get away from each other, one of us goes out side while the other stays in or we both go separate ways outside. In a three bedroom, we would have our own rooms to escape to. I have not had my own bedroom since before she was born, then again about ten years ago for two or three years tops. Then my parents split up and, for some god-forsaken reason, my mother, sister, and I were the ones that moved out and my father kept the house which he later sold.
My mother finally gave in, but we don't know yet if we can move. It is based on three things which have to happen in order for us to get to move:- The current tenants move out.
- The possible new tenants are denied.
- Taking the three bedroom won't take more money out of my mother's all ready low, low bi-weekly check.
Well, what do you guys think?
Peace,
Jennifer

TRECA Orientation
I had orientation today for TRECA. We showed up about a half hour early because we had to get there from pretty far away. The paper they sent us said that orientation started at 9:30.
At about a quarter after, I and the other enrolling students were escorted to the orientation room. Some woman came in a while later with class schedules. They put me in Geometry, Enviromental Science, English 3, U.S. Government, and P.E.
Once she was done, another woman came in and started the computer training. Each student gets a Mac to take home for while they are in school with TRECA. It goes back once we graduate. The thing is so freaking huge! It takes up like half of my desk!! They also gave each student a keyboard, mouse, scanner, and iPod Nano.
So I brought the stupid thing home, set it on my desk, pull my desk out from the wall a good five inches, and then start hooking up the cords for the power to the computer, the scanner cord, the keyboard and mouse. I then had to get my external CD drive out and plug it into the Mac. We only have wireless service, so I had to get a wireless adapter. I got this:
I started to run the software for the adapter. I don't know anything about Macs, so when it asked me to pick a file (10.3, 10.4, or 10.5), I had no clue what to choose. So I randomly picked. Well, that was the wrong one. Then, once I had the correct one, it needed administrator authorization. Gah! Basically, three calls to Newer Technology customer support and tech support and one call to the TRECA help desk, and I finally have internet!
I honestly don't understand what the hype about Mac is for. I have high-speed internet and this thing runs like it was made twenty years ago. It sucks, to put it bluntly.
I also made my school year schedule. I took the week of my mom's birthday off and my sister's next year. I have a few random weeks off and three weeks at Christmas time. My school year is 184 school days.
I will post pictures and things later. I am so tired right now. I am going to bed. XD
